Story:
Sam alias Sambasivrao (Nagarjuna) is a Telugu family settled in Portugal. Having lost trust in love, he lives for his own happiness. On the other hand, their family members are forcing him to get married as the age falls. Sam enjoys life by putting their words. However, he introduced Avanthika (Rakul Preet Singh) as his lover to his family members to opt-out the marriage pressure from his family. Avanthika has a deal with Sam to left the house on marriage date without knowing to anyone. What happened after that? Is she alienating Sam according to the deal? Or married to Sam? If you want to know about the film, watch the movie.
Analysis:
Nagarjuna as playboy is impressive. Even though the role of the middle-aged man, he looks like a young hero. The second half was accompanied by comedy and emotions. Rahul Ravindran entertained the audience with his previous flick 'Chi La Sow', but the film 'Manmadhudu 2' lacks it. Some conversations seem to be too much. Rahul Ravindran's approach to filmmaking in the interest of Telugu audiences seems to be inadequate.
Performance:
Nagarjuna is the main attraction of the movie. He played the role of a playboy while remembering that he was a middle-aged man. In addition to romantic themes, emotions are well cultivated. Vennela Kishore added a little fun to the film. He makes a lot of marks in the subject of comedy. Rakul Preet Singh is a strong character. She cultivated comedy as a girl of today, but also cultivated emotions. Keerthi Suresh and Samantha glitter in guest roles. Laxmi, Jhansi, and Devarshani gave justice to their roles. Rao Ramesh has performed the mark.
Technicalities:
Technically the production values of the film are high. The music of Chaitan Bharadwaj and Sukumar camera is the main strength of the film. Portugal is particularly impressed by the way Sukumar captures in the camera. As a visionary, Rahul Ravindran failed to impress at the first cinematic level. It was a non-fiction story, but it was well understood.
Final Verdict:
Manmadhudu 2 is lack of expectations in terms of comedy and conflict made the film a minuscule.
